The hotel is newly furnished, nice looking and clean. The staff is friendly. Room is quite big, has even a table for working.

A standard hotel conveniently located near the city center, featuring quick check-in and comfortable rooms with all the essentials. During the winter holidays, guests can enjoy a small and cozy Christmas market just across the street.

Great location, near Chocolate Museum and the promenade. Spacious room, big bed, we had everything we needed in the room, bathrobe, slippers, coffee, tea. The staff was very friendly, helped us in any matter, especially with the luggage, we dropped those at the reception. You have umbrellas to take from reception if it rains and some goodies from the house. We received a drink-voucher on a day.

PRICE AND VALUE: We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Considering the price, we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of our stay. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a free welcome drink along with some sweets. ROOM: The room felt even more spacious and comfortable than expected, and it was very clean (for reference, my partner's dust allergies didn't flare up once like at previous hotel experiences). The bathroom is big enough and modern. We really enjoyed the ambient lighting in the room. Despite some reviews we've read before our stay, we found that the AC was working fine and made our room cool enough. The windows also cancelled out outside noise well. The pillows were just soft enough to bring us a comfortable rest. Also, you have the option to dismiss housekeeping, in which case you receive vouchers for free drinks at the hotel bar. LOCATION: During our stay, we've seen many different parts of Köln, so we can confidently say that this hotel's location is superb - the Chocolate museum and the Rhine river are right across the road and the Cathedral is only a comfortable walk away. It's also in a close proximity to tram and bus stations, which is very useful. PARKING: Parking is available at the hotel for 20e per day in the hotel's underground garage, which considering the other options in Köln is a middle range price point, but it feels much safer than having it out on the street. It's spacious enough and easy to park. Important to note, we arrived at about 4 pm and finding a parking spot in the garage wasn't hard - but later in the evening, it filled up completely, so you would have to search for other options (there are several in close proximity). You can't reserve a parking spot. We kept the car in there throughout our entire stay, so it didn't really matter, but if you plan on driving around throughout your stay, keep this in mind.
